30-Day Spring Cleaning: Get Your Home Ready this Season with these Maintenance Tips
Cleaning. Maintenance. Repairs. Upkeep. These can seem daunting when looking at the big picture, but taking care of your home is vital to its health. Much like our personal health check-ups are vital to our overall well-being. As we take care of our homes, we are also preserving the integrity of them.
The saying, “April showers brings May flowers” is a good reminder of what we do now, will yield rewards in the future. So, for the month of April, I encourage us all to start fresh and take steps to maintain our homes so by May, they will be ready for the Spring season and beyond.
Some people may look at this as an opportunity to sprint to the finish line while others will gladly pace themselves. There is no right or wrong way as long as you get started. Choose one task per day for 30 days and your Spring Maintenance is complete! Or, tackle a few projects in one day and take a couple of days off.
